You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless E. Meyer, its officers, directors, employees and agents, from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the website, content, or products, or your violation of these Terms of Use.

Intellectual Property
“LaptopJack” is a trademark and service mark of E. Meyer. All custom graphics, logos, icons and service names are trademarks or service marks of E. Meyer. All other trademarks or service marks are property of their respective owners.

Sales tax
LaptopJack.com is located in sales tax free Oregon and charges no sales tax on any orders shipped within the United States. You are expected to comply with your state’s current laws regarding purchases over the internet.

Shipping and Handling
As a precautionary measure, thoroughly inspect the LaptopJack before accepting it from the mail carrier. Occasionally a LaptopJack will be damaged during shipment. If you notice any damage to the box, do not accept delivery of the package and send us an e-mail explaining the situation. As soon as the package has been returned to us, we will send you a replacement.

Guarantee
If you are unhappy with your LaptopJack, simply return it to us by regular mail in its original condition within 21 days from date of order. We will issue a full refund for the price you paid for it less shipping and handling charges. For your own protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.

There are two circumstances under which we also refund shipping costs of returns:
1. LaptopJack arrived damaged.
2. LaptopJack was not the model ordered.

For these, E. Meyer will pay and reimburse all delivery charges. You will be required to notify us of the circumstances and return LaptopJack to us.

For simple 'change of mind' situations, E. Meyer will gladly refund the purchase price (not including shipping) of your LaptopJack, provided that it is returned to us in a resalable condition. For your own protection we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service.
